So we caught another kitten last night. We came up with a way that saves poor Josh's hands. We now have a kitty carrier so we lure them in there and then close the door behind them. It works, at least till we get them in the house. This one we caught last night we nicknamed Mr. Blonde. (Starts singing Stuck In The Middle With You) If you dont get that, go watch Resevoir(sp?) Dogs go on, I will wait....har har. Anyway other than that, nothin much going on. Jeremy (Stef you know who I am talking about) is being a total idiot as usual. He tricked me into giving him my phone number and he called me at 2 AM last night. Now, where Im from, if someone is calling at 2 AM someone is dead, dying, in the hospital or something. Jeremy just called for some total jackass reason. Dont get me wrong, if you are a friend of mine and you truly need me, and its at 2AM I couldnt care less if you called, in fact I will be happy to talk to you at 2 AM. In fact most the time Im awake at that time. HOWEVER, if you are not a friend of mine and are calling to check on something that can wait, such as buying an item or something retarded like that, thats just RUDE! What an idiot! And hes getting himself into money trouble again. Workin on getting thrown out of the apartment. Oh well. Esther has unfortunately miscarried the twins. Just a little update on that. Catchy title aint it? Naw sorry havent posted in a few days. Other than the cat being sick and such not much is going on. We said goodbye to Beaker the cat today. Last night was the final straw. He decided it would be cute to piss all over the bed and pillows. We simply cannot afford to keep him. So we called animal control. It was kinda sad but better in the end. Im fixin to get a computer on friday. And hes vindictive enough to get mad cuz we yell at him and pee all over the keyboard...not happening. Just...no more. |

So I had to haul my berloved cat (yes berloved) Bright Eyes (or BE for short) to the vet. He was one sick kitty. He still is. Poor guy. In the process, I got covered in kitty crap. Yay. Blech! Oh well. At least we have a kitty carrier now. He got covered in it too. If you have ever tried to wash a cat, you know how much of a challenge that can be. It was, an adventure. I was tellin this to a friend of mine and then I said it builds character. Here is the question of the day. Is there such a thing as too much character? He says there is. Which made me ponder my life for the past few years. Is there? Scary thought. Anyway, still looking for a job. And its been rainy as heck as of late. Which also made my trip from the vet yesterday a fun experience. I should mention for those of you who dont know, I dont drive, which is why trips to the vets are always and adventure. Anyway thas about all I know I guess. By the way we decided to keep Beaker, as we of course Paws (the local animal shelter) is "full" and the pound would probably euthanize. So we have fallen into the habit of watching him like a hawk. Thas really all I know I guess. |

What is a friend?
Someone you can turn to in times of trouble? Someone who is always there? To me a friend is all this and much much more. It sounds silly but families arent just biological. Crazy fun times as well as times when we had our "girls" nights. This post is in honor of a special friend of mine. Stefanie, I miss you sooooooooo friggin much. I so wish you were still here. Dont get me wrong, I love all my friends, its just Stef, you dear girl have been a lot on my mind as of late. Its all the silly stuff I know, but still. Whether its walking by where you and Jon used to live or seein somethin tye-dye or a picture of Bambi (giggle snort) or whatever, you are sorely missed. So that being said, CALL ME! Goofy! Miss you and hope to talk to you soon

So it has come to this. Beaker the cat is going to have to find a new home. Just that simple. Please dont think me heartless, its just very simply we cannot afford to replace everything he decides to pee on. Hes as of late taken to peein on the desk which is where all the electronics are. So I went to town over the weekend and went to go see my cousin get married. She was beautiful the ceremony was quick...but its been raining a heckuva lot around here. The rain came on her wedding day. Not just a quick sploosh but a TORRENTIAL rain came right at her reception.....the outdoor reception. So we went from pretty to the sexy I got drug through the mud look. The cake fell over...BUT Danisha took it all in stride. She had a blast. Her mom cried, but she didnt. Everyone still had a blast and thankfully the rain stopped so although be it a little soggy around the edges, the wedding was beautiful. |

So, I have a wonderful cat. His name is Beaker. Hes a fantastic loving sort. And everyone needs a companion that will make you feel better when you are sad, howl all night, purr at you, and pee on all of your possessions. Its the best feeling in the world to find your puzzle or books get peed on (well almost...the precious stephen king novels were saved...but only barely)wouldnt you like a Beaker in your life? |

So Im coming to town soon! *does a happy dance!* Town to me is Albuquerque. Bout 2 hours south here in a car but since Im ghetto and taking the train it will be 4 hours. Yay for trips! Much needed vacation here! But Im also nervous as heck! Because theres a lot of erm...drama...yes drama..thas a good word between me and my family. And this is the first time Im seeing them since all the drama in a few years. And by family I mean extended family. Hopefully there wont be too many hostilities. And Danisha (my cousin) can get married in peace. Heres hoping! |

So I lost the job at the Trattoria. Not because of anything personal, but Stef you know the food he serves (French and Italian) and when everyone wants spanish food its not a good crowd to cater to. He laid off everyone. I think he has like 5 people running the entire restraunt. He even laid off the dishwasher. This will be interesting. Ah well. Back to the job hunt! |

So we caught a kitten out of our back shed. She turned into psycho kitty and bit Josh. He for some reason got it into his head she had rabies. So we called the hospital to see if they knew the symptoms of rabies in humans. They told us to call poison control....POISON CONTROL? Ah well. Then we decided to wait a few more hours and go to the vet to see what there is as far as symptoms of rabies in a cat. They didnt exactly give us a straight answer. And they told us to call a human doctor to see if they knew what symptoms were. Crazy circle because for some reason Josh got it in his head. Granted skunks and bats are well known carriers of rabies... well maybe not skunks well known but Ive read my Cujo I knew about bats! but I dont think there are bats in the shed...let alone skunks. It was funny...at least looking at it now. But thas bout all thas goin on. |

So I tried to go to work today...just to find I COULDNT GET THERE! Not because I broke a leg or anything, it was because the street was closed off because they are filming a movie here. I dont know what movie it is but it has Tommy Lee Jones and John Travolta in it. Turns out I was off anyway, thank God because I was way late because I had to go back around the long way. But on my way back...I got stopped again. They blew up a car, while it was cool effects and such, I kinda sorta lost in on some poor lady. Then of course John Travolta happened by and laughed at me. I guess Im an odd egg because I dont think life should stop because people are filming a movie. Oh well. Live and learn. Thats about all Ive got to say I guess |

So I get to go to work today. and Im on all week as one of our waiters is off to california for a week...lucky bastard. Ah well builds character. Hopefully we are so slow Eduard will send me home. I know its awful to wish that but I just dont feel like putting up with his crap tonight. They wonder why they have a hard time keeping a waitstaff, when Eduard flies off the handle for no reason other than he needs to yell. Even our most mild tempered cook, Lizzie started callin him an asshole. He seriously needs some anger management. Stef I know you like him and everything, he can be nice every now and again. I think hes best after hes had his glass of wine at the end of the night...at least more agreeable. Anyway, off to rid the world of injustice. |

So I went to work on Saturday night and we were SLAMMED! And of course I got my butt handed to me. And Eduard made me feel so inadequate I was trying my damndest not to cry at work....ergh what a night mare! And then today Eduard and Jesse got into a MAJOR fight. The entire restraunt heard it. Moral of the story, dont fuck with Jesse on Fathers Day. Ah well, live and learn I suppose. In the meantime, I desperately need more sleep. Some day I hope to get a real whole nights sleep. I got to sleep around 6 AM and had to be at work at 9 AM. Took about an hour nap...*yawns* time to go back to bed LOL! |

So Josh decided to walk me to work today. We were early so we were just strollin along (turns out I didnt have to work anyway) but thas not the point. All of a sudden this like 80 year old woman starts cursing out Josh! Like calling him a bastard and tellin him to fuck off...My jaw bout hit the cement! I didnt know ladies at that age knew those words! Anyway how are you supposed to react to that? LOL |

So I got my very first check. 17.22...That would be fine if I had only been working there a week. But Ive been working there a bit longer than that. So I am feeling a little erm...frustrated at Mr Eduard. This is sooooooooooooooo messed up. And if I go talk to him he will say something along the lines of "you didnt fill out your paperwork" or "we just started you" well Jackass if I had the paperwork it would have been filled out when you friggin hired me! Sorry Im a bit angry. |

Hey my avid reader. (is that delusions of grandeur or what?) Ive been getting my butt kicked by work and kitties. The kitties decide to go off round 5 AM and when you dont exactly get to sleep till about 3ish....thas a problem. Its all good though. They are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute. One has a home with a friend in Abq. He named her Dust Bunny. Which fits because well, thats what she looks like. And then last night we caught a black one. He is cute. I havent really had a chance to really look at him (waaaaaaaay too tired.) but other than that work is alright. Eduard has a tendency to give me a hard time as does the dishwasher but meh whatever ya know? Ive finally started taking my own tables. I was so proud of myself for coordinating 3 tables at once. Anyway all else is good. |

So I had to take Josh's cat Mouse (har har) to the vet today. And hes all better. We were right. He had a bad tooth. And it was removed and hes all better. The vet found out I was on foot so his solution...carry Mouse in a pillowcase. He was clawing even worse and people kept looking at me soooooooo dirty, so I just took him out and carried him home. Hes much better now though. YAY! |

So today I got this huge package in the mail. It had pictures of my Tyler in it. Instead of making me happy like it should...it made me really sad. Made me realize Im missing out on so much of his life. The sound of his laugh, listening to his baby nonsense. Sure his smile can be caught on film but its just not the same...*sigh* |

Sunday was a DISASTER. There were 2 of us working and we got busy then she walked out! Im still new at this job. Ive never waitressed before. If I had it wouldnt have been such a bad thing. But I just dont see why people walk out on their jobs. Why cant they finish their shift then leave? I just dont understand it. Why couldnt she wait till someone else came to help me or till the end of her shift? Maybe Im just old fashioned. |

So I finally took my own tables the other night. Just a few. And Eduard didnt yell at me...kinda laughed at me...to quote him, "you dont have to put your whole life story on the ticket." It was funny. Ah well. Anyway, yesterday I had off. So Josh and I walked all over Hell and Creation. We went to the electric company then we went to the gas company then we went to wal-mart. All in all about 6 miles. But I got a new t shirt (yay for my wrestling peoples and yay for me getting it!) And I also got Wrestlemania which came with a Rey Mysterio DVD. For super cheap. And we went and saw x men 3. We also rented Bloodrayne and Ringer. Ringer was okay...erm more up Josh's alley? Though it wasnt a horror one. And he also bought me a game...Rampage..so yeah...I have some late nights ahead! LOL So though it was rough on the feet...it was a good day nonetheless. Well I getsta work again tonight...hopefully I wont fall asleep! And it looks like rain! EEP! |
